Description

Pure vitamin B1. Feed supplement for horses.

Thiamine or vitamin B1 is a coenzyme; a type of activator needed for the conversion of substances such as carbohydrates. It is also important for certain muscle and nerve functions as well as for the body’s energy production. Thiamine is also an important substance in how the body handles stress.

Thiamine is often recommended for the treatment of a locked patella, as prescribed by a vet. A supplement of vitamin B1 is often needed for highperformance horses or horses having a change in feed. The risk of overdose is considered small, as the vitamin is water-soluble and any excess is secreted out with the urine.

Remember to compare price per daily dosage.
