APPLICATION

To be used for horses that frequent sandy paddocks or may ingest sand, pine cones, soil, or gravel.

Eclipse Biofarmab Psyllium seed with taste of apple contains 100% premium-quality psyllium seeds, also called flea seeds.

When horses graze in paddocks with sparse or no grass, they may inadvertently ingest significant amounts of sand and gravel, leading to the accumulation of these materials in the gut and the potential development of sand colic. Some horses are prone to restlessness and may nibble on various objects within their reach, including cones and bark. To facilitate the removal of this undesireable material from the intestine, psyllium seeds can be administered.

The outer shell of the psyllium seed forms a gel-like substance upon contact with liquids, efficiently transporting sand and gravel out of the intestine. Psyllium (flea seed) has a long history of successful use in horses for this purpose.

Psyllium seed also has a positive impact on intestinal function by promoting regular intestinal motility.

Psyllium is best administered with wet food immediately following feeding. It can also be given in its dry form, but it is essential to ensure the horse has unrestricted access to water. The product should not be soaked, as the desired gel formation occurs inside the horse for optimal effectiveness.

As this product is composed of natural ingredients, variations in colour and appearance are normal. No added sugar.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

For maintenance:

4 scoops daily for up to 30 days

For therapeutic use:

12 scoops daily for up to 5 days (only in consultation with the veterinarian)
