The outer shell of the psyllium seed forms a gel-like substance upon contact with liquids. Psyllium can assist your pet in various ways and has several different uses.

• It can be given to restless dogs and cats who pick up whatever they find on walks, in the garden, and at home, as the psyllium gel helps to remove this unwanted material from the intestine.

• To regulate bowel movements in stressful situations such as car rides, environmental change and visits to the vet, but also during intense physical activity like hunting, competitions, training, etc. Psyllium indeed binds water, preventing the pet from sudden diarrhoea caused by stress and vigorous exercise.

• If the animal is constipated, psyllium helps to lubricate, stimulate intestinal movement, and carries water into the intestine, aiding the stool to return to a normal consistency.

• Psyllium can also be given to support and enhance a healthy gastrointestinal system in general.

Psyllium is best administered with wet food immediately following feeding. It can also be given in its dry form, but it is essential to ensure the pet has unrestricted access to water. The product should not be soaked, as the desired gel formation occurs inside the pet for optimal effectiveness.

As this product is composed of natural ingredients, variations in colour and appearance are normal.

10-30 kg: 1 scoop/day

<30 kg: 1.5 scoops/day

Mix well in feed.
