Diatomaceous earth or silicon dioxide is a good source of silicon, which is considered beneficial for hooves and coat.

Research indicates that a horse’s demand for silicon increases during training and competition. Enhancing the horse’s health and agility can be achieved by supplementing with extra silicon.

Silicon is a prevalent element present in the body’s cartilage, connective tissue, tendons, and joints. Diatomaceous earth plays a crucial role in the development and upkeep of robust bones and joints. It contributes to the bone strucutre’s hardness and density, which is critical for maintaining the horse’s overall skeletal well-being.

Horse: 1 scoop/day

Large-sized horse (over 600kg): 1.5 scoops/day

Mix well in feed.

1 scoop = 3 g provides 1.25 g silica.
